Learning from a real pro

My club recently had the pleasure of hosting a demonstration from a professional craftsman/woodturner with 52 years of turning experience.

Terry Brown is a long-time member of the NC Woodturners Guild and shared 90 minutes of tips and techniques from basic to intermediate turning.

The session starts out a little slow, but as Terry hits his stride he just loads the session with useful ideas for fellow turners. This guy is for real. He turns furniture legs, architectural columns, etc. and he does NOT travel the world doing demos.

Everyone enjoyed his talk so much, he’s been asked to come back in April to do a “part 2.”
